Need Help in a Language other than English?

IRS and IRS-funded free tax preparation programs, called Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE), must help you in your language by providing free interpreters or other help in a language you speak. Let the program know that you need help in your your language.

If you do not fully understand English or have trouble fully explaining what you mean in English, you should have help with taxes in your own language or through a qualified interpreter.

Tax returns need to be filled out accurately with the information you give before you sign off on filing them.

This IRS handout has more information about services in other languages.

If you cannot get services in your language, Greater Boston Legal Services may be able to help.
